Twin Birthday Celebrations

Last Friday we attended a rather special birthday celebration. Twins Joe and Michael turned 13 and their mum organised a surprise birthday treat.

On Friday afternoon we made our way to Ashley School in Widnes. It was a beautiful sunny day and ideal for ice creams and lollies. (Though in our opinion, there’s never a bad time for ice cream.) We obtained permission from the school in advance and waited around the corner until their family arrived. We then surprised the twins with our iconic ice cream van and birthday chimes. It was a complete surprise and they were delighted.

The twins’ mum explained how much they loved ice cream vans and chimes, and spent hours watching YouTube footage. So you can imagine their joy as we approached.

They both jumped on board and served their classmates and family. They had a turn on the chimes and we took a spin around the car park. It was a great day and much fun was had by all. The twins were surprised and delighted, as were their guests.
