Busy Bees

Here at Austin’s Ices we get so busy during the Summer months that we don’t know if we’re coming or going some days, and last Friday was a case in point.

We started the day at Printerbase in Ashton-Under-Lyne, where our ever-popular Mr Whippy ice cream complemented the hot dogs on offer at their staff fun day nicely (hot dogs followed by ice cream are pretty much the perfect combination of course).
Then we hotfooted it over to one of our regular haunts – Manchester University. This time it was the turn of the students of the school of chemical engineering and analytical science to receive an ice cream treat from one of our iconic vans.
Next we headed to another of our corporate customers: Lonza – one of the world’s leading suppliers to the Pharma and Biotech markets and helped their staff summer party at their Manchester Offices on Oxford Road to go with a swing.
We rounded off the day in Chorlton, at the South West Manchester Cricket Club to be more precise, where DAI were holding their annual works Summer barbecue. This is the third year they’ve had us pay them a visit and our colourful ice creams are always a poplar addition to proceedings.
