Scoring Big With AGD Ltd

At Austin’s Ices, we firmly believe that there’s no better way to make a great first impression than with a lovely big helping of ice cream. So when the wonderful people at AGD Ltd got in touch recently, we were thrilled to discover that they felt exactly the same way.

A London based marketing agency, AGD help clients grow their business by engaging more potential customers. They first got in touch a few weeks ago, when they were planning a showcase event in Manchester. After a quick conversation, they invited us to get involved, and we happily accepted. Hiring one of our beautiful ice cream vans for the day, complete with a spectacular selection of ices and other cool treats, felt like the perfect way to create some buzz. AGD were going to make an statement, and they were going to do it with style, class and a healthy dose of Mr Whippy!

Right away, we were keen to know exactly how we’d be fitting into the day, and our excitement levels went through the roof when we found out who AGD was partnering with. Clearly on a mission to do great things, the ambitious team had managed to strike a deal with one of the most iconic brands in the world. It turns out, we were going to be serving up our signature assortment of iced goodies at none other than the Etihad Stadium, home of the legendary Manchester City Football Club!

When the big day finally arrived, things couldn’t have gone better. Clear blue skies and soaring temperatures meant that we soon had quite the line forming. The sun was beaming and so were we, as we handed out dozens of ice creams to an ever-growing crowd. AGD were over the moon with the response (and we’re pretty sure they enjoyed the ice cream, too!). We wish them every success in the future, and hopefully we’ll get to work with them again soon!
